Saturday Workshop programme
A series of monthly one day ceramics workshops to try your hand at a new skill or refine an existing one. Each workshop has it’s own theme and is a great introduction to clay or chance to concentrate on improving a particular technique.
The next Saturday workshop is on 16th February and will be inspired by ‘Once upon a time…’ From a story telling sculpture or wall piece to a more abstract interpretation this is a great workshop to explore narrative ceramics.
This workshop will give you the chance to learn the basics of hand building in clay or, for the more experienced, to push the clay to its limits. This is a great workshop if you would like to get some surface decoration practice.
The next Saturday workshops will be:
- 16th March – Time
- 17th April – Mark making
- 18th May – Birds
- 22nd June – Figurative
Each workshop is followed by a 2 hour glazing workshop 2 or 3 weeks later. All workshops run 10am – 3pm, are based at Paula Armstrong Ceramics studio, Willingham, are suitable for beginners to the more experienced and cost £80 per person including all materials and firings.
